The 2016 Honda HR-V is a fantastic machine to behold and ride. It will be launched this spring and has already got automobile lovers talking. The HR-V Crossover is said to be just one more thing to love
from Honda.
According
to AutoBlog, The US Environmental Protection Agency released information
regarding fuel consumption of the 2016 HR-V: 28 miles per gallon in the city,
35 on the highway and 31 combined, with front wheel drive and optional CVT.
With these numbers, HR-V outperforms almost all vehicles from this segment.
With AWD (available only with CVT) these numbers are not that good 27 mpg in
the city, 32 on the highway and 29 combined. Even lower rates are for FWD and
six speed manual transmission – 25 mpg city, 34 highway and 28 combined. Still,
these rates are pretty decent for this type of car.

Honda HR-V Exterior
Although
the new HR-V is closely related to Honda Fit, its platform-mate, when it comes
to appearance these two do not have much in common. This model fits just below
the Honda CR-V and they share some same elements. The HR-V spices up its design
with elements on its own but headlights and curved hood clearly are inspired by
its older brother. Other design element, especially on the rear implies that
HR-V has the style of its own.
Compared
to previously mentioned Fit model, the HR-V is slightly bigger – wheelbase is 9
inches wider, overall length increased for 3 inches and it’s three inches
taller. Its cargo space is also bigger, offering 58.8 cubic feet with rear
folded rear seats compared to Fit’s 52 cu-ft.
To
summarize, the new Honda HR-V looks beautiful. It’s sporty exterior features
heated power mirrors, 17 inch aluminium alloy wheels, hidden rear door handles,
power tailgate locks and many more. Depending on a trim chosen, customer also
can get fog lights, roof rails, heated outside mirrors etc.
Exterior
is available in eight colors: Alabaster Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearl,
Mulberry Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Milano Red, Misty Green Pearl,
Crystal Black Pearl and Deep Ocean Pearl.
