The
New York auto show will witness the introduction of the Range Rover Sport HST
Limited Edition, designed for the North American lovers of the Land Rover
product. The new Range Rover Sport HST Limited Edition is meant to fit in
between the 340-hp base model and the 550-hp supercharged version.
According
to Land Rover, the HST trim will be coming with a 380-hp, 3.0-liter
supercharged V6 and a silky-smooth ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The
chassis has also been tuned for sharper responses while a single-speed transfer
case and Torsen differential distributes power. The Terrain Response system,
which adjusts suspension, steering and throttle settings, gets a unique dynamic
mode programmed specifically for the HST.
Inside
the new Range Rover, the seats are designed with Oxford leather with ebony trim
and HST badges on the dashboard and carpet. The paddle shifters and pedals are
metal plated and the aluminum interior trim features a textured finish.
