The
rear seats are mounted further back in the cabin than in a stock XC90, a setup
that allowed engineers to free up additional leg room without having to stretch
the XC90's wheelbase.
Interior.
The
Excellence was unabashedly designed around the rear passengers. The back part
of the cabin is fitted with reclining, heated and ventilated rear seats that
offer a massage function, and each passenger can enjoy his or her own
entertainment thanks to a pair of retractable touch screens integrated into the
front seatbacks.
The
list of standard creature comforts includes airplane-style folding tablets,
footrests, a mini fridge with bottle and glass holders built into the center
console and heating/cooling cup holders.
An
extra layer of sound insulation and Pirelli Noise Canceling System tires let
the occupants enjoy the 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
